Frozen Yogurt

Frozen yogurt is made from yogurt and served as an alternative to ice cream. Frozen yogurt is lower in fat than ice cream and can be either sweet or sour. Frozen yogurt melts slower than ice cream. There are many variations of recipes for frozen yogurt to meet your individual taste buds.

Frozen yogurt was first made in the 1970s but didn't become popular till the 1980s. By the early 1990s frozen yogurt had captured a large part of the frozen dessert market.
