Although Frosty Returns is the half-hour animated Christmas special that CBS airs right after the original Frosty the Snowman each December, Frosty's Winter Wonderland is considered the true sequel as it was made by the same producers and also featured original "Frosty" with Jackie Vernon as the voice of the title character.

Reviews
"As a huge fan of this underrated actress, I'm not sure I want a subdued Shelley Winters, but she does manage a girlish, sweet delivery that fits the character. The story is logically set out, and it moves swiftly from song to song, while the animation is wonderfully evocative of that later Rankin/Bass house style."DVD Talk: Frosty's Winter Wonderland Review"Like that fourth cookie from the holiday dessert table, this sequel may serve only as seasonal excess, but that's not always such a bad thing. This sequel may lack a real plot, but it also forgoes the sadness that made the first movie a bit heavy for younger kids.Common Sense Media: Frosty's Winter Wonderland Review
