Frontlines: Fuel of War is a first-person shooter video game set in 2024 during a global energy crisis. As supplies of oil and natural gas diminish, diplomatic relations between the East and West are strained, causing new alliances to be formed. Two of the primary alliances are the Western Coalition (United States and European Union), and the Red Star Alliance (Russia and the People's Republic of China. In their attempt to secure the scant remaining resources, intermittent skirmishes escalate into a full-scale war.
