Connecting the Front Panel to the Motherboard
The side of your motherboard contains an array of pins where you can connect raised jumpers. A cable can connect these jumpers to the indicators on the front panel, including the hard drive indicator, power and reset buttons.
Make sure this cable is plugged in correctly and each pin attaches to its right location. If you need to plug in the cable and aren't sure which pin locations to use, consult your computer's manual for the correct connections.
