From Autumn to Ashes, also known as FATA is a melodic hardcore band from Long Island that was formed in 2000. A year after the formation of the band, their first full length album Too Bad You're Beautiful was released. The album earned the band a lot of praise and sold 50,000 copies in the United States. From Autumn to Ashes' second full length album The Fiction We Live was released in 2002 and features vocals from Melanie Wills. The song "The After Dinner Payback" was featured on the film Freddy vs. Jason.
