Frittata

A frittata is an open-faced, Italian omelette made with eggs and a variety of cheeses, meats and vegetables.

Ingredients

There are numerous fillings that can be used to make a frittata. Some of the more typical ingredients are:

Tips for Cooking

  1. Use an oven-proof skillet or a flat casserole dish.
  2. Bake at 375° for about 20-25 minutes.
  3. Allow the bottom and the sides to become a golden brown color.
  4. Slice into wedges.
  5. Serve hot or at room temperature.
