Former CEO of Countrywide Financial, Angelo Mozilo, allegedly handed out mortgages to his close friends, which included two former CEOs of Fannie Mae and Jim Johnson, a former adviser to Barack Obama. The group of VIP friends were known as the "friends of Angelo" or FoA. Federal officials are investigating the VIP program for ethics and corruption violations.
