According to police reports, 22-year-old Antonio Vasquez entered the home of two central California farmworkers, stole money and assaulted the victims with sausage and spices. One of the victims was allegedly struck with the sausage, while the other was "rubbed" with spices. Vasquez, whose wallet was discovered at the crime scene, was found in a field in his underwear and arrested.
