Frenzy is a horror movie written by Anthony Shaffer and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. It is based off a novel written by Arthur La Bern and was released on June 21, 1972. The movie stars Jon Finch as an ex-Royal Air Force Officer and Anna Massey, as his girlfriend. The movie is centered around the search for the necktie murderer, a serial killer in London, England. Frenzy was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards and won one other award.
Plot Synopsis
Frenzy is a horror movie based in London, England centered around the search for a serial killer known as the "Necktie Murderer". Richard Blaney and his girlfriend Barbara Jane Milligan, professional matchmaker Brenda Margaret Blaney and and fruit seller Bob Rusk are seen as connected to the murders. But the police, lead by Chief Inspector Oxford, concentrate on the wrong man. John Finch, Anna Massey, Barbara Leigh-Hunt, Barry Foster and Alec McCowen star.
