French Bulldog

The French Bulldog is a small, muscular dog with a smooth coat, snub nose, bat ears and a half-flat, half-domed skull.

Temperament

Calm, happy and obedient, the French Bulldog is a devoted companion that craves human contact.

Health Problems

The French Bulldog has a flat face and bulky build which can often compromise its breathing and ability to regulate its own body temperature. It is also prone to snoring. Other genetic conditions that may affect this breed are:

  1. Von Willebrand Disease
  2. Brachycephalic Syndrome
  3. Cherry Eye
  4. Megaesophagus
