Freelance Bidding Sites are auction-type websites where freelancers can go to bid on projects posted by buyers. The buyer then is able to review the bids, inspect the freelancer's qualifications compared to price and turnaround time, and then will select a winner bid to perform the work. Once the work is completed, the buyer pays the auction site and the auction site pays the freelancer, usually taking a small transaction fee out as a 'finder's fee' for bringing the buyer and freelancer together.
