Gameplay
The Oregon Trail is a game where you decide when to leave on your cross country trek to the new opportunities that are available in Oregon. You will choose your family and name them. Then you will choose their professions. These characters will then head out from independence, Missouri, on the 2000 mile trip to the Pacific Northwest. During play they will run into the very real problems that the original settlers dealt with, the impending lack of food and the sickness as well as the daily decisions that they will have to make on their journey. Other problems they run into include choosing to ford the river and risk loosing all their supplies, losing a wheel on their wagon or simply deciding if they have enough water to make it to Oregon city, Oregon.
