College Football Career
Joseph began his college career at Boston College in 2004, but did not play football that season. In 2005, he transferred to Florida Atlantic University and under NCAA policy, sat out one year. He made his college football debut with the FAU Owls in 2006, playing in 11 games and recording 61 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss and one sack. He continued to have success in 2007, tallying 131 tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss and three sacks in 13 games.
