Franklin Morales is a left-handed pitcher for the Colorado Rockies. A native of Venezuela, Morales originally signed with the Rockies as an amateur free agent in 2002. Morales spent five years as one of the Rockies top minor league prospects before making his major league debut on August 18, 2007. Morales posted a record of 3-2 in his first season, and helped pitch the Rockies to the 2007 World Series.
