Biography
Lucas was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and he is a fifth-generation Oklahoman from a family of ranchers and farmers. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1982 with a degree in agricultural economics.http://www.house.gov/lucas/biography.shtml He has not retired from ranching, as he still runs a cattle ranch in western Oklahoma. Legislation
