Frank DiPascali was the CFO of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securites, LLC. He is often referred to as Bernie Madoff's "go-to guy" during the years of Madoff's investment ponzi scheme. Although DiPascali remains under investigation for his involvement with Madoff's crimes, no charges have been filed against him.
On April 24, 2009, it was reported that DiPascali was seeking a plea deal from federal prosecutors, looking for a reduced sentence in exchange for information in the Bernard Madoff fraud investigation.
Possible Plea
In April 2009, Fortune reported that DiPascali was seeking a plea deal with prosecutors. DiPascali would provide details of the Madoff Ponzi scheme, including names of people involved with the fraud. Bernie Madoff had previously admitted to only his involvement with the scheme.
