Under the besieged capital, the Pacificans have knocked out the huge generator needed in the final battle with the dreadnaught. You'll have to restore the beams that power the generator, which will involve battling huge groups of enemies, as well as manipulating the terrain to remove obstacles from the paths of the beams, or change the beams' courses. Some of the most difficult and dangerous battles in the game take place here. You'll need all your skills and abilities to make it through. When you've got the generator back online, you'll head back up to the surface, for the final effort to Take Down the Dreadnought.

Fight your way through the tunnels below the city. Use exploding barrels, and your hill-raising ability, to take out the many enemies down here. You can crush enemies against the ceiling with hills. Just be careful that they don't do the same to you, using their many hill grenades. Block off passages when you need a chance to regenerate health. Use your increased punching ability at close quarters.

When you come to a blocked doorway on the right, burrow through it, and move on. Fight more enemies in the room beyond. Make your way through the hallway, to the immense room with the shield generator. You need to clear out the dirt in front of the generator beam, allowing it to reach its destination. Do so to the first beam, and battle the large group of enemies in the room. Then head through the doorway in the corner, and move down the hallway. Raise a hill to get over the pile of debris blocking the path. Follow the walkway forward, and, in the large room ahead, battle more enemies. Then clear out two separate piles of debris, freeing up this beam. Then head through the doorway on the right, and down the hallway, battling more enemies as you go. Pick up the weapon from the crate straight ahead, and continue.

In the tunnels ahead is another large concentration of enemies. Once they're down, head through the doorway on the left, into a room with another beam. Here, instead of removing terrain, you'll have to add it, redirecting the beam across the pieces of debris straight ahead and to the right of its current course. Once it's connected up, fight some more enemies, then head through the doorway on the right. Clear out terrain ahead, and keep moving.

Here, the beam is blocked by a shield. You'll need to redirect the beam again, ricocheting it off the debris straight ahead and on the left. This should eliminate the shield. Now battle the enemies in the next room, and remove the debris straight in front of the beam in order to connect it up. Watch for a hydra to appear in the next room. Destroy him, and the rest of the enemies here. Then head out through the doorway on the left up ahead.

Another spike hydra, like the one you fought last mission, is guarding the next beam. You need to destroy him, then destroy the spikes. Now it's just a matter of clearing the debris in front of the beam. Get rid of the debris to free up the beam. Watch out for more enemies to appear immediately. Take them out, then head through the doorway they came from, on the right. Fight your way along the tunnel ahead. At the end, drop through the hole in the floor, and continue on.

The large room up contains a beam, and a whole host of enemies. They're arrayed on both sides of the area, on both the upper and lower levels, so you'll have to make your way forward slowly and carefully. Once you've taken them out, clear the way for the beam, then head out through the doorway on the left of the ground floor. In the next area, you'll have to battle another of the rampaging monsters you've fought before. Take him out, then clear the way for the final beam, and head out of the area, ending the mission.
