This page is a full text walkthrough for the 2008 third-person shooter Fracture for the PS3 and Xbox 360. This game guide contains a detailed walkthrough, which includes tips and strategies on defeating all types of enemies and manipulating the environment to your advantage.
Fracture is an action game that allows you to manipulate the terrain with a weapon called the Entrencher. You can use this to raise and lower the land, which allows you to access previously blocked areas or jump to previously out of reach areas.

About Fracture

In 2161, climactic change has separated the United States into two opposing countries, The Republic of Pacifica and The Atlantic Alliance. The Alliance has turned to advances in technology for survival, while the Pacificans have made great leaps in the science of genetic mutation. When the Alliance President outlaws genetic modification, unleashing a wave of Pacifican hostility.
Jet Brody, an elite soldier of the Atlantic Alliance, is sent in to eliminate the threat. Jet has access to a number of weapons, as well as a shielded suit that will be familiar to fans of shooters. An interesting twist to Fracture's gameplay is the terrain deformation system, which allows players to alter certain types of terrain using special weapons or grenades. This is useful for taking out enemies, creating cover from enemy fire or solving puzzles. An online multiplayer mode rounds out the gaming experience.IGN: Fracture Review (PS3)

General Gameplay Tips
1. Overbody Shield: Your health is your shield. When it drains and begins to flash red, get to cover and it will recharge.
2. Radar: Located in the lower right of your screen. It displays objectives as white circles, enemies are red, and friends are green.
3. Entrencher: This allows you to manipulate the terrain in the game. You can raise and lower the land as needed. Lower it to expose tunnels that were previously closed or raise it to gain access to a level that's too high to jump to. You can also create cover when you're exposed to gunfire.
4. Weapons Crates: These are crates where you can pick up new weapons and ammo. They are scattered all over each environment.
5. Data Cells: These are scattered all over the game. There are 100 in all and they unlock weapons and other things for the weapons testing area, which can be accessed on the main menu.
6. Weak Points: Many enemies have weak points on their bodies that you have to shoot in order to take them down. Most of the time it is a green spot on their head, but some enemies, like the Bolla Creature, have three green spots that need to be shot in order to kill them.
7. Augmentations: Throughout the game you will gain numerous augmentations that allow you to become stronger and better.
  1. Shield Alpha: This is your Overbody Shield.
  2. Entrench Alpha: This gives you the Entrencher.
  3. Entrench Beta: Allows you to jump and augment the terrain below you.
  4. Shield Beta: Allows you to take more damage.
  5. Entrench Gamma: Increases the force when you descend from your jump and, when you hit the ground, you damage nearby enemies.
  6. Shield Gamma: Maximizes your shield.
  7. Strength Beta: Upgrades your melee damage and adds a lunge ability.
Weapons

1. Grenades: You have a few types of grenades that you're able to utilize throughout the game.
  1. Spike Grenade: This creates a large spike that emerges from the dirt. It can raise you up if you stand on it or raise an object out of your way. It can also crush an enemy against the ceiling if properly utilized.
  2. Subsonic Grenade: This is a grenade that explodes and creates a crater in the ground.
  3. Tectonic Grenade: This explodes and causes the terrain to raise up into a mound.
  4. Vortex Grenade: This explodes and creates a vortex, which sucks everything near it into a swirling mosh-pit of death. The vortex, after gathering enemies within its radius up, will explode and cause massive damage. This is an insanely effective grenade, but you can only carry one at a time.
2. The Bulldog: Your default assault rifle. It has a medium range and holds a lot of ammo.
3. Pacifican SMG: This is the Pacifican equivalent of the Bulldog.
4. Bangalore: A rocket launcher with good range, but it doesn't hold much ammo.
5. Black Widow: This fires grenades that stick to any structure they hit. You can fire six and detonate them whenever you wish.
6. Scorpion: This is an excellent long range sniper rifle.
7. Raptor: This is an excellent long range rifle. Ammo for it is plentiful and it has great power.
8. Invader: This is a high powered shotgun. The best close range weapon in the game, but ammo can be hard to come by.
9. ALM-37: This fires a ball of ice that freezes your enemies. You then need to melee them or shoot them with your other weapon to break the enemy apart. If you do not break the enemy ice block quickly enough, they will unfreeze and continue to attack you.
10. Catapult: This is much like the black widow. It launches a grenade that you can detonate at your leisure.
11. Rhino: The Rhino is obtained when you defeat a Bolla creature. It gives you their power to launch large boulder like objects at enemies.
12. ST-4 Torpedo Launcher: This fires a torpedo into the ground. It shines a light upward to show you where it is as it goes forward. Once it reaches its destination, you can detonate it.
13. Lodestone: This is a weapon that shoots an object that sucks enemies and other objects toward it. It can gather up enemies that are proving difficult to get at and it can even be used to manipulate certain objects in the environment, which allows you to pass through the area.
Alcatraz
1. Look around when you are given control and then use the Entrencher to raise the land on the left.
2. Use it again to lower the land on the right and then go forward.
3. Crouch under the metal structure in front of you and then hop over the next metal piece.
4. Use the Entrencher to lower the land so you can walk through the tunnel ahead and then go to the pipes blocking your way.
5. Lower the land so that you can go under the pipes and then raise the land to hop over the wall.
6. Raise the land to hop over the large pipe and then raise the land to reach the crate of grenades.
7. Throw a grenade and destroy the crates on the right and then do the same with the ones on the left.
8. Throw a grenade through the window on the left and then raise the land to reach the crate in the building.
9. Pick up the Bangalore and fire it at the shack marked on the radar.
10. Fire another rocket at the water tower to bring it down and then enter it to find a crate.
11. Pick up the Black Widow and go out the other side of the water tower.
12. Fire a grenade from the new weapon at the supports of the landing pad and then hit X to blow them up.
13. Go to the crate by the downed landing pad and pick up the spike grenades.
14. Throw a spike grenade at the red target on your right and then go up the ramp it forms.
15. Pick up the sonic grenades here and throw one through the wall on the right for another weapons crate.
16. Pick up the sniper rifle and go to the side of the building.
17. Zoom in and snipe the two targets with the rifle and a ship will pass through the area.
18. Play with the weapons some more if you would like, but when you're ready, go right to the ship.
19. TIP: There is a data cell to the left of the entrance that leads to the ship.
20. Kill the two enemies in front of you and then go over the mound.
21. Go left and raise the land to reach the next section of the prison.
22. Raise the land on the left to create cover for your comrade and then go forward to the end of the hall.
23. TIP: Raise the land to reach the upper walkway where you can claim a data cell.
24. Go into the room on the left where the turret is firing at you and raise the land to create some cover.
25. Throw a grenade at the turret to take it out and then raise the land to reach the hole in the roof.
26. Jump through the hole in the roof to reach the next area.
27. Kill the enemy here and blast the barrels to create a hole in the roof.
28. Jump down through the roof and kill the five enemies here.
29. TIP: Raise the land to reach a data cell on the upper walkway.
30. Raise the land to get up to your cohort on the right and follow the walkway to the next room.
31. Kill the enemies here and then, at the end of the hall, lower the land to get through the tunnel in the ground.
32. When you reach the next room, raise the land to reach the hole in the wall.
33. Go right and then follow the hallway to reach the outside.
34. Kill the enemies in front of you and then go forward to the building ahead to take out some more.
35. TIP: From where you first entered, turn around and look at the wall to find another data cell.
36. Kill the enemies that show up and then get on board the ship when it arrives.

Dropship Down
1. Take out the Raptors ahead and then lower the land below the window to find a hole in the building.
2. Go through the hole to reach the next area and then kill the enemies here.
3. Go up the stairs in the corner and follow the path as you kill the enemies who attack.
4. Go down the next set of stairs to find the first anti-aircraft gun and then throw a grenade or simply raise the land under it to destroy it.
5. Go over the wall on the left and kill the enemies on the ground.
6. Use the entrencher and the land to get up into the bunker on the right and kill the enemies here.
7. Make your way to the back of the bunker and take out the next anti-air gun.
8. Exit out the front of the bunker where you first entered.
9. Make your way down the hill to the next area.
10. TIP: There is a data cell along the left wall before you enter the next area.
11. Take out the enemies and then shoot the spike that's holding the bridge up.
12. Once the bridge is lowered, go under it and kill the enemies ahead.
13. Go right up the hill and then across the bridge.
14. When the reinforcements are dropped off, grab some spike grenades and take cover.
15. Blast the enemies ahead and watch out for the turret.
16. Grenade the turret and then get in it.
17. Blast the enemies through the wall on the left of the turret and then hop out when they're dead.
18. TIP: The wall on the right has a data cell on top of it. Use a spike grenade by throwing it and standing on top of it. This will raise you into the air and allow you to get the data cell.
19. Enter the hole in the wall and kill the enemies that charge.
20. Go left through the hole in the next wall and keep killing.
21. Use a spike grenade to raise the grate and then jump into the hole beneath it.
22. Follow the path and crouch to get under the pipe in the way.
23. Hop over the next pipe and wipe out the enemies as you follow the only path available to you.
24. An enemy will block the door to the next area by raising the land, so lower it and enter.
25. TIP: There is a data cell to your right when you enter.
26. Kill the hoard of goons here before going to the box on the right that is raised into the air.
27. Raise the land under the box to the right of the hanging one.
28. Get on top of the box that is still flat to the ground and jump to the one you just raised into the air.
29. Jump to the hanging box and then onto the walkway.
30. Go into the next room and use a spike grenade to take out the shield generator. Just throw one under it and the spike will destroy it.
31. Shoot the large box in the center of the room and a hole will blow open in the wall.
32. Go out of the hole and head right where you will encounter a new enemy, the Hydra.
33. Grab a Bangalore and go across the gap. Get under the towers that the enemy hops between and blast him with the Bangalore when you get a chance. Shoot as soon as he lands or he will jump out of the way.
34. Go up the hill on the right and eliminate the enemies here.
35. Continue to the top and kill everyone before entering the facility.
Conveyer Tunnels
1. Grab a black widow and fire it across the gap at the enemies.
2. When the conveyer is back online jump in and crouch down to avoid fire.
3. Use the black widow to fire at the enemies below and then crouch down while you detonate.
4. TIP: Do not detonate the black widow while you're in the cart above it. The blast will kill you as well.
5. When you reach a certain point, a cave in occurs and the conveyer stops, so hop out.
6. Use a spike grenade to reach the metal platform in the right corner.
7. Hop into the higher conveyer and ride it into the next area.
8. Take out the enemies below and on the upper platforms.
9. TIP: If you jump out of the conveyer, you can grab a data cell, which is under the conveyer itself. To get back up to the conveyer, raise the land under the stairs leading to the platform. When the stairs are high enough, walk up them to a high platform and jump back onto the conveyer.
10. Ride the conveyer over the next set of lava and take out the enemies here.
11. When the conveyer stops, blast the enemies in the immediate area and destroy the platforms with large boxes that hold exploding orbs.
12. Hop out of the conveyer and blast everyone left as you follow the path of the conveyer from the ground.
13. TIP: Get up on the platform to the right to grab a data cell. This can be done by climbing debris or by standing on a spike grenade.
14. When you go into the tunnel that has water all around it, you will be bombarded by a group of enemies. Take cover and use grenades to take them out.
15. Lower the land to go under the door at the end of the hall and then hop down the wall on the right.
16. Kill the enemies and then blow up the box under the bridge to bring it down.
17. Run up the downed bridge and kill the enemies at the top.
18. Go right and lower the land on the generator to the left to open the gate.
19. Go up the path, killing the enemies in your way, to reach the next gate.
20. TIP: Hop off the cliff to the right and land on a portion of the bridge that has a data cell on it. Just go back up the bridge and follow the path to get back to where you are.
21. Go through the door on the right of the next gate and you will be on a small platform. Form here, lower the land on the switch beyond the gate so that you can pass through.
22. Continue up the path and the conveyer will be just ahead.
23. On the left there's a broken conduit. Raise the land under the piece that's on the ground. When it gets back into position, the conveyer starts moving again.
24. Jump back into the conveyer and ride it into the next area.
25. When the conveyer reaches a gate you can't pass through, jump out.
26. Kill the enemies here and go up the path on the left to get back into the conveyer.
27. Once your past the wall, jump out to the left and kill the enemies on the bridge ahead.
28. TIP: There is a data cell at the end of the bridge.
29. From the bridge, drop back into the conveyer and continue the ride.
30. When the conveyer reaches the next impassable gate, jump out and kill the enemies you encounter.
31. Use a spike grenade to reach the platform that is against the left wall where the conveyer continues on.
32. Kill the enemies here and then lower the land on the right to expose a doorway.
33. Go into the door and kill the enemy by the crate.
34. Shoot the guys on the bridge beyond and then take out the guys below.
35. TIP: Go into the door at the back left for a data cell.
36. A hoard of enemies will now appear and a Hydra will be among them. Try to stay in cover as much as possible and kill the enemies as they become a problem. Enemies will come out of every door at the back, so be prepared.
37. TIP: There is a black widow on the right side of the room on the upper walkway. Use this to help take out large groups of enemies.
38. Once you've killed them all, go through the central door at the back of the room.
39. This room has four cylinders that need destroyed. You must use the explosive hydra balls that fall from the center of the room.
40. Lower the land under one of the tubes to expose there power cell. When a ball drops into the room, lower the land to coral it into the power cell. Do this to destroy all four of them.
41. Blast the enemies that enter the room and then go out the door.
42. Use a spike grenade to get up to the area on the left and follow the land to the next wall.
43. Raise the land to hop over the wall and then hop down to the path below.
44. Drop down to the next area at the end of the path and take cover by the crates.
45. Kill the enemies that are scattered through the crates across the way.
46. Get into the ship and let it take you across the gap in the bridge.
47. Hop out on the other side and start killing enemies.
48. TIP: There's a data cell by the cliff.
49. After killing enough enemies, a door at the back will open and another group of enemies will come out.
50. Kill them and then enter the room to get on the elevator.
Dreadnought Tower
1. Exit the elevator and turn left to see a ship you need to shoot down.
2. Grab the Bangalore on the right and keep firing and staying in cover until it falls from the sky.
3. Go through the door that opens and start shooting the enemies that appear.
4. Go up the hill on the left and grab a vortex grenade.
5. Throw the vortex grenade into the center of all the enemies and it will suck them up.
6. Kill any remnants and then raise the land to get onto the walkway at the end of the area.
7. TIP: Go all the way right to grab a vortex grenade.
8. Go left and kill the enemies you encounter as you move along the upper ledge.
9. Follow this path along the cliff until some enemies come out of a metal door.
10. Kill the enemies and then lower the land to get under the door.
11. TIP: There is a data cell to the right of the elevator.
12. Kill the enemies here and then get on the elevator to the left.
13. After the cut scene, go out the door where the enemies attack and follow the walkway to find previously closed path that is now opened.
14. Kill the enemies below and use a vortex grenade to take care of the new enemy who's shooting green bombs at you.
15. Go up the path and drop down from where the bridge is broken.
16. You need to jump across the gap to reach the next set of rocks, but it's to far to jump. Use a spike grenade and/or raise the land between the gap to reach the other side.
17. Follow the rocks to the top and take out the enemies in your way as you make your way along the dirt path.
18. You come to another destroyed bridge, but you can jump across this one.
19. Kill the enemies here and grab the Bangalore at the top of the stairs.
20. TIP: Use a spike grenade to reach the top of the building where you can get a vortex grenade and a data cell.
21. Go right and a ship arrives that you need to blow out of the sky. Use your Bangalore and keep going back to the ammo box until it falls from the sky.
22. Go to the next building and use a spike grenade to get on top of it.
23. Here, you encounter a mass amount of enemies below you while a Hydra jumps around and fires insanely accurate missiles at you. Grab a Raptor and try to kill as many as possible from high ground.
24. TIP: There's a Bangalore along the right ledge.
25. TIP: On the right side there's a data cell. Raise the land and use a spike grenade to get to it.
26. On the left side of the area there's a bridge that is slumped down. Raise the land under it and use a spike grenade to raise the bridge up.
27. Raise the land by the lowest part of the bridge and then use a spike grenade to raise yourself to the bridge.
28. Go left and into the metal ship.
29. Use the Raptor to take out as many enemies as you can, but when it's done, jump down and take out the rest from here.
30. Raise the land on the right to reach the ledge and then follow it.
31. TIP: Once you're up on the ledge, destroy the objects on the right where an enemy is and you can find a data cell.
32. Take out the enemies here as you go down the path under the rock arch.
33. Defeat the enemies here and then shoot the red and yellow balls, which causes them to roll and take out some enemies below.
34. Go down the ramp and wipe out anyone who's left.
35. TIP: Go behind the ramp to grab a vortex grenade.
36. Raise the terrain to reach the building on the left and kill the Hydra that's jumping around.
37. TIP: To get the data cell on this building, raise the terrain and use a spike grenade to raise yourself up. Jump to the roof and it's yours.
38. Go along the path across the building and kill the enemies that emerge.
39. Go down to the grassy area under the bridge and defeat the enemies.
40. Use a spike grenade to raise the bridge up and then follow the dirt path underneath it.
41. Kill the enemies and raise the terrain as needed until you reach the bridge.
42. Follow your troops onto the bridge and kill the enemies at the other end.
43. Use a spike grenade to raise the metal grate on the left and jump into the hole.
Dreadnought Revealed
1. Go around the right corner and blast the enemies behind the fan.
2. Raise the land to destroy the fan and then you're attacked by an armored enemy. Grab the black widow to make short work of him.
3. Go through the opening where the fan was and follow the path until it leads you outside.
4. Shoot the rocks above the enemies on your right to kill them and then move forward to the next batch.
5. The rocks should have knocked a tower over on the right side of the area. Run up the side of this tower to reach the top of the building where more enemies await.
6. Take out the first few and then use a raptor to take out the enemies in the turrets.
7. Move forward and notice the four scramblers on the bridge support. Use Spike grenades under them to take them out.
8. TIP: Use a turret to knock over the tower on the left so that you can run up it and jump on the bridge support. Here you can find a data cell on the left support and the lodestone weapon, which can also be used to take out the scramblers. Jump on the railing and then up to the higher support for the data cell.
9. Once the scramblers are down, move to the marked spot on the radar and sit back for an awesome cut scene.
10. Go through the tunnel and lower the terrain to get under the rocks.
11. Look left and blast the overhead rocks to let them fall on the enemies below.
12. Follow the path, but take your time and stay in cover as there are numerous enemies here.
13. Follow the path and eventually you find some of your troops on the other side of a lava pit.
14. Walk around the left side of the pit and follow your men to the ship.
15. You now have to get onto the Dreadnought. Move forward and kill the enemies by its leg.
16. Raise the terrain to get close to it and it will step away from you.
17. Keep moving towards it and killing the enemies in your way.
18. When you get a chance, raise the terrain by the back of it's foot and hop inside.
19. Kill the enemies that will continually show up and you eventually have to get back outside.
20. TIP: When you exit the foot, go around to the other side of it for a data cell.
21. Make your way to the spot that's marked on the radar. There are plenty of enemies to kill along the way.
22. TIP: To the right of the spot on the radar is a data cell on a small hill.
23. Along with your new troops, you have to get back on the foot, but it's moved.
24. Go to the left and take out the enemies as you follow the path towards the foot.
25. TIP: When you reach the foot, look right for a data cell on a demolished structure. Raise the terrain to get to it.
26. Fight the enemies around the foot and then raise the terrain to get back inside of it.
27. Kill the enemies that will bombard you and, when your cohorts leave, do the same.
28. A small bunker structure will be marked on your radar. Go to it and blast the enemies in your way.
29. Fend off the enemies until a ship arrives to fly you out.
30. Board the ship to end the first act.
Genetic Research Base
1. TIP: Behind your starting position is a data cell on top of a building. Jump on the crate next to it and then jump to the roof to get it.
2. Grab the raptor and kill the enemies on the path from the top of the ramp where you start.
3. Follow the path and use the crates for cover as you kill the enemies.
4. Make your way into the entrance at the end of the path and use the raptor to take out the enemy in the turret.
5. Jump into the turret and start blasting the enemies that pour out of the next door. If you need to, hop out and get into cover to recharge your shield.
6. TIP: There's a data cell high on the left side. Go to the back right wall and use a spike grenade along with raising the terrain to reach the walkway it's on.
7. Once you've killed everyone, go towards the door they came out of and it gets blocked.
8. Go back towards where you entered the area and find the small building under the walkway on the right wall. Raise the terrain to get onto the building and then jump onto the crate to reach the higher walkway.
9. Go into the door on this walkway and you come across Creepers.
10. Go down onto the dirt and when the dirt flies towards you, raise the land with the Entrencher to get the Creepers out.
11. Blast any remaining Creepers the same way and then go to the metal structures beyond.
12. There are three generators that need to be destroyed. Go to the first one and throw a grenade inside the central spinning part at the top. This will disable it, allowing you to move on to the next one.
13. Look to the next generator and raise the terrain by the switch to create a walkway. This allows you to avoid the Creepers.
14. Across the walkway, blast the enemies and throw a grenade into the second generator.
15. Look to the third generator and raise another walkway with the Entrencher.
16. Throw a grenade into this generator and a new location is marked on the map.
17. Hop down to the ground and make your way to the door while you deal with some Creepers.
18. TIP: There is a data cell to the left corner of the doorway.
19. Grab the ALM-37 and hop onto the elevator.
20. Ride the elevator up to the next level and take immediate cover.
21. Freeze some enemies with your new gun and smash them with an elbow to the face.
22. Try to find a raptor to take out the turret and keep using cover until everyone is gone.
23. TIP: On the right side of the area there's data cell. Raise the terrain under the metal shed type door and then raise it even more with a spike grenade while you're on it. Jump into the window where it is to claim it.
24. Find the two metal structures in the dirt before the turret and raise the terrain on the switches on each one. This opens a door under the turret.
25. Go down the steps and kill the enemies in the room on the left.
26. Raise the terrain under the generator and then use a spike grenade to destroy it.
27. Go to the room on the right and kill the enemies before you destroy this generator in the same way as the last one.
28. Go back outside and stay in cover as you blast the numerous enemies in the area.
29. TIP: Go to the elevator where you started and look right. Raise the metal door and go under it to find a data cell on the left.
30. Drop into the hole behind the turret and wipe out the enemies in the hallway.
31. Use the elevator and then go down the next hallway.
32. Go left out the door and equip the Lodestone.
33. TIP: Under the stairs that lead down to the dirt, you can find a data cell.
34. Jump on the first hanging platform and use the Lodestone to shoot the blue spots on the next two platforms.
35. Once the platforms are aligned, jump on them to reach the next area.
36. Here, you encounter Cheetahs. They are fast, but if you just shoot them while they're still, they are nothing special.
37. Go up the steps and hop across the next set of platforms.
38. Drop down and kill the Cheetahs here before grabbing a raptor and killing the Cheetahs across the way.
39. TIP: Go down the steps to get a data cell.
40. Grab the Lodestone and jump down to the dirt to kill the Creepers as you make your way to the next area.
41. Raise the terrain to reach the next platform and throw a spike grenade to reach the upper area of the platform.
42. Use the Lodestone to get the first two platforms closer to the left wall and then hop over them to the permanent platform in the wall.
43. Grab the raptor and kill the Cheetahs and then use the Lodestone to align the next set of platforms.
44. TIP: From the last platform, shoot the middle one to send them both back towards the data cell. Jump to the middle one and then to the platform with the data cell.
45. Jump across the platforms to reach the next area and then drop to the dirt below.
46. Kill any Creepers that become a problem as you go to the door marked on the radar.
47. Kill the enemies ahead and then move towards the shield buster.
48. TIP: Use the far left building to jump to a rock and then to the previous building on the left to get a data cell.
49. Raise the terrain to send the shield buster into the shield and it will go down.
50. Kill the enemies and go through to the next area.
51. TIP: Raise the terrain to reach the data cell on the structure to the left.
52. Use cover and kill all the enemies in this area as you head to your right.
53. Go through the gate and then left to encounter more enemies near another shielded gateway.
54. Kill these enemies and go left to another metal structure where enemies with raptors will be firing at you from.
55. Kill these enemies and then go to the left of the building.
56. Lower the terrain to enter the building through a tunnel and then raise the terrain under the device until it explodes.
57. Go back outside to find a shield buster. Raise the terrain to corral it into the shield on the right.
58. When the shield goes down, enter the door beyond it to reach the next area.
Recon
1. Go out the door in front of you.
2. TIP: Raise the terrain on the right and use a spike grenade to get to the data cell on the upper walkway.
3. Raise the terrain on the left and use a spike grenade to reach the platform with the doorway.
4. Enter the door and follow the path to the grate.
5. When the grate drops, go right and raise the terrain to create a walkway across the ooze.
6. Raise the terrain under the steps on the ground to get them up to the higher steps.
7. Use these steps to get out of the dirt and follow the walkways to encounter a large creature.
8. This Bolla creature has three green spots on it. One is on its back and the other two are on the face and stomach. Shoot these spots until they turn red and the creature will go down. When he rushes you, jump out of the way and avoid his hits and rock balls.
9. TIP: Grab the Invader on the left side of the area because it can deal major damage to the Bolla.
10. Go out the door that opens when the creature goes down and follow the tunnel up and to the left. You see a ship drop the TDV-1, which is a vehicle for you to drive.
11. Jump into the vehicle and drive down the path and off the cliff.
12. Go left and use your boost to jump the gap.
13. Drive over some green ooze and then smash through a barricade. Your gun will automatically fire when an enemy is present, but feel free to run them over.
14. Follow the path and hit boost to go up the metal ramp and over the ravine.
15. Drive forward to the metal gate and use the grinder to dig a hole down under the gate.
16. Drive to the tower ahead and launch a grenade. Detonate it under the tower to bring it down.
17. Go left and use the grinder to lower the hill so that you can pass.
18. Drive down to the next gate and grind under the door to get to the next side.
19. Kill the enemies ahead and grind over any hills in your way.
20. Jump the next pit of ooze and bring down the tower ahead before heading right through the gate.
21. Go over the next hills and take down another tower in the corner by the metal structures.
22. Grind under the next gate and drive forward to grind under another gate. You should see a ship overhead just past the second gate.
23. Drive past the ship and hit boost to clear the gap over the metal ramp.
24. TIP: There's a data cell in the downed ship ahead.
25. Go left into the canyon and drive off another ramp.
26. Go right when you land and grind under the next gate in the path.
27. Drive off the ledge and create a ramp with a grenade by the edge of the ooze.
28. Boost over the ramp to the other side.
29. TIP: There's a data cell on the metal structure to the right.
30. Pull a u-turn and create a ramp next to the metal structure to jump the ooze and reach a different path than the one you were just on.
31. Go up the hill and grind under the gate.
32. Drop off the cliff and grind under another gate.
33. Follow the path to the right and then grind down a hill on the left.
34. To your right is a tower generating a shield in your way. Bring the tower down and drive through the passage it was blocking.
35. Kill the enemies by the ooze river and then get out of the vehicle.
36. Raise the terrain to cross the river and then raise the terrain by the metal structure.
37. Stand on the raised land and use a spike grenade to reach the top of the metal structure.
38. Go to the entrance ahead and drop down the hole.
39. Follow the tunnel to the green ooze and then use the entrencher to make your way through the ooze.
40. Go straight and raise the terrain under the steps to get on the overhead platform.
41. TIP: If you go left and then left again, while on the green ooze, you can find a data cell.
42. Go up the steps and kill the enemies.
43. Go until you spot the super computer and then drop off the ledge to your right.
44. TIP: Turn to the wall and use the entrencher to raise the terrain through the tunnel. You can claim a data cell when you reach the end.
45. Go into the area on the right and kill the enemies here.
46. Grab an Invader by the large containers with Bolla creatures in them.
47. In both the right and left corners of the room, you find switches that you can raise the terrain under. Raise the land under each until it's destroyed and all the Bolla's except one will die.
48. This is the same as last time, stay away from his attacks and shoot the three green spots with the Invader until he dies. When the Bolla goes down, you gain access to the supercomputer.
49. Go back to the central ooze pit and raise the land below the computer to reach it.
50. After the cut scene, go back to the room where you fought the Bolla and the kill the new enemies there.
51. Go out the door on the upper right side and get into the TDV-1.
52. Go through the gate ahead and follow the path.
53. Jump over the green ooze or simply drive through it as they are small areas.
54. Keep following the path and run over any enemies in your way.
55. Use boost to clear the next pit of green ooze and then keep driving.
56. TIP: You'll see a data cell on the walkway above you. Raise the terrain and use a spike grenade to reach it.
57. Drop off the metal road and follow the path past the next gate on your right.
58. TIP: Raise the terrain to obtain the next data cell on the right.
59. When you reach the rock ramp, use boost to clear the gap and then use grind to go over the hill on the left.
60. When you go under the next arch, create a ramp to get over the debris in the road.
61. TIP: Once the ramp is created, just walk up it to get the data cell on the debris.
62. Drive over the pipes and boost to jump the hill.
63. Follow the path through the next gate and then drop down the cliff.
64. Follow the path and boost over the debris that falls in your way.
65. You will soon be on a dirt path with street lights. Hit boost to clear the jump at the end and then use a grenade to blow up the barrels that roll down the hill at you.
66. Boost over the next cliff ledge and keep going down the path.
67. TIP: There is a data cell in the cement structure to the left. Just jump up to it using the cement ledges to get it.
68. Boost over the rock jump and then turn onto the metal bridge.
69. TIP: There is a data cell on the platform to the left.
70. Boost over the gap at the end of the bridge and go right through the gate.
71. Grind under the fence and Boost over the green pit on the right.
72. Drive up the hill and take out the enemies here.
73. Create a ramp and jump the ravine to kill some more enemies.
74. TIP: Raise the terrain by the tower nearest the edge and use a spike grenade to get on it so that you can grab the data cell.
75. Raise the terrain under the tower to bring the gate on the left down so that you can drive through.
76. Grind under the next gate and follow the path to another drop off a cliff.
77. Drive up the hill and then get out of the vehicle.
78. Go through the beams and grab the scorpion sniper rifle.
79. Take cover and snipe the enemies below until your out of ammo.
80. TIP: There's a data cell on the platform to the left.
81. Jump down and wipe out the rest of the enemies.
82. Go up the ramp to reach the central platform and go to the chamber where the prisoner is being held to end Act 2.
Washington DC Intro
1. Go forward and kill the first batch of enemies.
2. TIP: Enter the building with the gunners on the top floor and go right to find a data cell.
3. Go left and kill the enemies here. There are guys on rooftops and plenty on the ground, so take your time and take cover.
4. When you reach the bridge, go to the left side and raise the terrain to the broken end.
5. Use a spike grenade and jump to the bridge.
6. Take cover by one of the barricades and kill the enemies on the bridge.
7. Shoot the enemies on the building to the left with a raptor and then go down the ramp on the right to meet up with some of your troops.
8. Take cover and kill the ground troops as well as those up in the buildings.
9. TIP: Raise the terrain and use a spike grenade to get the data cell on the right. Go into the demolished buildings and use the rubble on the left to get to the top. Go to the right side and grab a data cell.
10. When you've killed everyone, go right and take cover again as more enemies will bombard you.
11. Raise the land to enter the building on the right corner and kill the goon inside.
12. Grab the sniper rifle and go to the broken out piece of wall to snipe a few enemies.
13. TIP: Jump the in the building to get the data cell.
14. Jump down from the building and continue towards the spot marked on your radar as you kill anyone left on the ground.
15. When you get to the next corner, you run into more of the same. Stay in cover and wipe out the enemies.
16. When you've killed them all, go left into the area marked on the radar and raise the terrain as high as it will go.
17. Use a spike grenade and you can raise yourself up to the opening in the building.
18. Drop through the hole and go to the next hole in the building.
19. Shoot the enemies below and drop from the hole.
20. TIP: Raise the terrain to get to the data cell on the left.
21. Go into the alley and wipe out any enemies as you go forward.
22. TIP: Look up for some more metal walkways in the alley. On the top of one you can spot another data cell. Raise the terrain and use a spike grenade to get up to it.
23. Raise the terrain to hop over the fence and reach the open area.
24. Kill the enemies by the central statue and then take cover as drop pods release some Cheetahs.
25. TIP: There is a data cell on the right side of the area.
26. Once the Cheetahs are down, a Hyrda will show up to play. This Hydra will create a shield from the spikes he stands on, so shoot the spikes to break them and then pop him when he's on the ground.
Generator Beams
1. This area is pretty straight forward. Follow the marked spot on the radar to navigate the tunnel and wipe out enemies as you go.
2. TIP: Use spike grenades and raise the terrain to crush enemies against the low ceiling.
3. Eventually, you reach a pile of debris that you have to lower the terrain under in order to pass, so do that and keep killing as you go.
4. You will next enter a large metallic room. Hang a left and then left again at the red beam.
5. Kill the enemies here and lower the ground under the beam to let it connect.
6. Kill the enemies that emerge after the beam turns blue and enter the door they came from.
7. Lower the terrain to get under the debris and then enter the next laser room.
8. Kill the enemies here and alter the terrain to allow the red beam to connect with the generator.
9. Go out the door on the right side of the room and follow the tunnel.
10. Kill the enemies in your way as you make your way to the next laser room marked on the radar.
11. In this room, you can't clear the path directly so you must reflect the beam. Raise the piece of metal under the beam by the large chunk of debris and this will deflect it to the side of the room.
12. Raise the debris by the side of the room where the beam is shooting and this will connect it to the generator.
13. Kill the enemies that appear and enter the door they came from.
14. Lower the land blocking the tunnel and enter the next beam room.
15. Here, raise the debris by the shield and then raise the debris by the left side of the room. This will direct the beam to the side of the shield and into the shield generator, which destroys it.
16. Kill the enemies beyond the gate, but watch out as there is a Hydra and some super armored goons.
17. Get the beam connected by altering the terrain and then raise the terrain on the left to reach the upper walkway.
18. TIP: Enter the door on the left for a data cell.
19. Go straight into the next door and stay on the upper walkway.
20. Hop over the debris in the path and go into the next beam room.
21. TIP: Look right to spot an easy to get data cell from the upper walkway.
22. When you reach a center of the room, your greeted by a Spike Hydra. Shoot the spikes out from under him and shoot him when he hits the ground.
23. Lower the terrain under all the debris blocking the beam and it will connect.
24. Kill the enemies that enter and go into the open door.
25. When you reach the blocked part of the tunnel, go right and kill the enemies as you follow the path.
26. When you reach the hole in the ground, drop down and follow the tunnel as you kill the enemies inside.
27. Do not hastily enter the next room. Kill the enemies you can through the open door and then enter to fewer goons trying to kill you.
28. Grab a raptor and kill the enemies on the upper walkway to the left and right.
29. TIP: Go under the walkway on the right for a data cell.
30. Alter the terrain to topple the boxes and the beam will connect.
31. Go into the door on the left side of the room and follow the tunnel to the next laser room.
32. Here, you encounter a Bolla. Go to the far lefts side of the room and grab the Invader. Shoot him in the green spots and he goes down when they turn red.
33. Alter the terrain and the beam will connect.
Take Down the Dreadnought
1. Kill the enemies ahead and get into the building.
2. Raise the terrain to reach the enemies with raptors and then kill them.
3. Use the raptor to take out the enemies on the ground as you move forward through the buildings.
4. When you've killed all the enemies in this area, a vehicle smashes through the debris and opens a path.
5. Kill the enemies that emerge and enter the gap in the debris.
6. Hang a right and go under the toppled building to kill some more Pacifican goons.
7. Go forward to the downed ship and enter it to stock up on grenades.
8. Wipe out the enemies around you and two Hydras will show up, so deal with them too.
9. Raise the terrain by the building on the left and go inside the upstairs.
10. TIP: There is a data cell here.
11. Drop down and kill the bombardment of goons that attack.
12. TIP: Go up the hill in the second building on the left to grab a data cell.
13. Use a raptor to kill the enemies in the upper floors of the houses at the end of the block.
14. Go forward and wipe out the remainder of enemies in your way while you keep an eye out for the Dreadnought laser that fires down.
15. TIP: There is a data cell in the building at the back right corner.
16. TIP: Raise the terrain in the building in the back left corner to reach a data cell on the upper floor.
17. Go over the terrain in the central building to reach the next area full of enemies.
18. Take cover and deal damage in any way you can to clear the area.
19. Go to the red beam on the right and observe the area. You need to use the debris and alter the terrain to connect this beam to a shield generator on the back end of the foot with the walkway to enter it.
20. Use the debris across from it and then adjacent to that and it will direct itself from there unless the terrain has been altered in battle.
21. Go to the left side of the foot and find to next red beam. This needs to be connected just like the last beam. Raise the debris across from it and then it shoots the building, which shoots it to the ground. Lower the ground to reveal metal and the beam will connect.
22. Get on the foot and kill the enemies here.
23. When the central door opens, throw a grenade into the blue beam and the Dreadnought goes down.
Sheridan Battle
1. Lower the terrain to get through the tunnels here and after the second tunnel, grab the black widow before lowering the terrain on the third tunnel.
2. Enter the next area where Sheridan is and watch the ground for Creepers.
3. This is like any other Bolla battle, except you are attacked by Creepers the entire time and it takes a lot longer to kill him.
4. Shoot the glowing spots on his body and avoid his attacks.
5. When he's about half way dead, spikes will come out of the ground and he'll recharge while you're bombarded by Creepers. Run from the Creepers while you shoot the spikes with the black widow so he can't fully recharge his energy.
6. When the spikes are down, he'll go back to his regular attacks.
7. Keep shooting his weak spots and he will bring up the spikes again to recharge. Take them down the same way.
8. Continue to shoot his weak spots until he dies and you complete Act 3.
