Conservative Bias

Fox News has been attacked as having a conservative bias when reporting the news, and the perceived bias was the subject of the documentary Outfoxed. Red Eye Remarks

On an episode of the Fox News late-night series Red Eye that aired on March of 2009, host Greg Gutfeld and panelists, including comedian Doug Benson, mocked a statement made by Canadian Lt. Gen. Andrew Leslie, noting that the Canada military would need a year-long break from operations in Afghanistan starting in 2011. Gutfeld said that the soldiers would need time off to do yoga and get manicures, while Benson noted that he had not been aware Canadians were serving in Afghanistan. Gutfeld apologized for his comments on March 23, claiming that he had been misunderstood and meant no disrespect to members of the Canadian military.International Herald Tribune: Fox News apologizes to Canada for troop remarks (March 23, 2009)
