  • The FOX Gopher Cam is a small hi-def camera that is embedded underneath the asphalt of a race track. The cameras have been used to provide a unique perspective on the Daytona 500, one of NASCAR's biggest races that takes place each year in Daytona Beach, Florida. It debuted during the 2008 race.
  • Digger

    The Gopher Cam has its own animated mascot named Digger. The cartoon gopher has grown in popularity since his debut, even appearing on t-shirts and other merchandise items. A series of cartoon shorts about Digger were created by FOX to be debuted during the 2009 Daytona 500.
