Fountains of Wayne are a Grammy nominated Power-Pop band that rose to fame in 2003 with their hit song "Stacy's Mom". After signing to Atlantic Records in 1996 and releasing two moderately successful albums, the band took a hiatus before returning in 2003 with their breakout album Welcome Interstate Managers. Since that time, the band has fought hard to move past their "One-Hit Wonder" status. They released their new album, Traffic and Weather, in April of 2007.
