January - March brings the Florida Renaissance Festival and Crafts Village where you can enjoy all things medieval, including homemade craft items. Another popular event is the Winterfest Boat Parade in December where more than 100 boats travel ten miles along the Intracoastal Waterway through Fort Lauderdale. November brings the Broward County Fair, this long-running fair draws thousands of visitors to the Pompano Park each year.
