Forrest Pollock

Brandon, Florida pastor Forrest Pollock and his 13-year-old son were killed in a plane crash in North Carolina on May 12, 2008. Reports said the plane's wreckage was found in a mountainous area about 20 miles southwest ofAsheville, North Carolina

The 44-year-old Pollock was an experienced pilot, and pastor of the Bell Shoals Baptist Church. He was in North Carolina visiting his mother on Mother's Day, and was reportedly heading to Arkansas to pick up a friend when his plane went down.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
