Ford has recalled over 1.2 million diesel powered vehicles after discovering a software problem that may cause engines to stall. Letters will be sent to all owners in December 2007 to all owners for a free replacement of parts.

@RyanK Well also this then attributes to higher costs, now its worth noting that somethings deserve recall like the Ford Pinto.
