The Ford GT is a sports car built by the Ford Motor Company. The car was built from 2005 to 2006 and was inspired by the Ford GT40 from the 1960s.
Performance
The Ford GT utilizes a 5.4 liter modular aluminum engine that is supercharged. Much of the engine design is shared with that of the Ford Shelby GT500. The powerplant puts out about 550 horsepower and 500 foot-pounds of torque. All GTs are fitted with a six-speed manual transmission. Stopping ability is controlled by Brembo brakes with cross-drilled and vented discs in each corner.FordGT.org: Ford GT
