  • A remake of the 1984 film Footloose is slated for release in 2010. Footloose is the story about a city teenager, (Ren McCormack) relocating to a small town where music and dancing are illegal. Ren tries to fit in but when he starts dating the preacher's daughter and plans to hold a senior prom, he discovers there is more to the ban on dancing than he first thought. The film was fast-tracked after High School Musical 3's successful 2008 premiere.
