In the game of foosball, opponents compete from opposite sides of a foosball table, each controlling eight rows of miniature soccer players attached to twisting bars alongside the table. By moving the bars, the opponents can pass, block and kick the ball between players and into the opponent's goal. As with traditional soccer, the player (or sometimes team as the game can be played with more than two players) who scores the most goals wins.
