Chocolate Pizza By Giada De Laurentiis
What you need to make this chocolate pizza is 1 pound homemade pizza dough, recipe follows, or purchased pizza dough, 2 teaspoons butter, melted, 1/4 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (recommended: Nutella), 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons milk chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons chopped hazelnuts, toasted. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. and put oven rack on the bottom of the oven. Line a heavy large baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll dough to a 9-inch-diameter round. Put dough on the prepared baking sheet. Using your fingers, make indentations on the dough. Brush the dough with butter, then bake until the crust is crisp and golden brown, about 20 minutes. Immediately spread the chocolate-hazelnut spread over the pizza then sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake just until the chocolate begins to melt, about 1 minute. Sprinkle the hazelnuts over the pizza. Cut into wedges and serve. Ingredients for Pizza Dough: 1/2 cup warm water, 2 teaspoons active dry yeast, 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for kneading, 1 teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for bowl. Next Food Network Star Premieres June 6, 2010
Season Six of Food Network's number one series, The Next Food Network Star, hosted by Bobby Flay and mentored by Giada De Laurentiis premieres June 6, 2010 at 9pm ET/PT. Judges will be Bobby Flay, Susie Fogelson and Bob Tuschman.
The show will be shot in Los Angeles on a new studio set with 12 people competing for the The Next Food Network Star.
