2008 Controversial Deaths
16-year-old church member Neil Beagley died on June 17, 2008, from an easily treatable illness. Beagley suffered from a urinary tract blockage which caused his kidneys and heart to fail. A simple insertion of a catheter could have prevented his death.Associated Press: Teenager from Faith-Healing Family Dies...(June 18, 2008)Ava Worthington, a 15-month-old relative of Beagley's, died from pneumonia and a blood infection in March 2008.
