Foix France

Located in France, Foix is the capital of Ariege. The small commune is the birthplace of statesman Charles de Freycinet and the ending point of stage 11 in the Tour de France 2008 race. Tour de France: Tour de France Foix is also home to the Chateau de Foix castle. Built in the 10th Century, this castle has been home to numerous counts who have ruled the area.
