Mayweather's ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, with whom he has three children, alleged that Mayweather stole cell phones from her and two of the children, grabbed her hair, hit her and twisted her arm after finding out about her relationship with another man. Originally, the two were slated to do battle on March 13, 2010 in what was being billed as a superfight. The two men were going to split $50 million up front and get a cut of the PPV revenues, pushing each man's purse north of $40 million.

However, there were allegations made that Pacquiao was taking performance enhancing substances, and Mayweather wanted there to be Olympic style drug testing.
