At WrestleMania XXIV, boxer Floyd Mayweather defeated The Big Show in a wrestling match by "knockout" after several chair shots, and a punch with brass knuckles.
The feud began at WWE No Way Out on February 17, 2008, when Mayweather and Big Show had a confrontation which resulted in Mayweather breaking Big Show's nose.
Since the announcement of the match, the story has received a large amount of mainstream media attention. Some have criticized Mayweather for taking part in the staged event.
