    Flower is the second game from independent developer thatgamecompany. Like the company's previous game, flOw, Flower is more of an interactive experience than a true game. In the game, players control a lead flower petal through multiple environments, picking up swarms of flower petals along the way, and causing the environment to change.

    According to the developers, the main concept behind the game was to bring a normally secondary game element, the environment, to forefront. The goals and pacing are varied based on each individual player, allowing them to explore the environments on their own time. The game is controlled primarily using the motion-sensing capabilities of the SIXAXIS controller with occasional button presses.

    The developers have also stated that they want gamers to lose themselves in the environments and become aware of the consequences of even the smallest action, saying, "The game exploits the tension between urban bustle and natural serenity. Like in the real world, everything you pick up causes the environment to change. And hopefully by the end of the journey, you change a little as well."thatgamecompany: Flower
