  • Controversy has surrounded the decision of the Democratic National Committee to strip Florida of its delegates to the Democratic National Convention because Florida scheduled its primary earlier than had been agreed with the committee. The major democratic candidates did not campaign in Florida, and Hillary Clinton won the primary. Several plans have been proposed to address the situation, including a proposal to redo the primary.
