Go Gators
There have been three Heisman Trophy winners, Steve Spurrier in 1966, Danny Wuerffel in 1996 and Tim Tebow in 2007. Tebow was the first sophomore player ever to win the award. The school has also won two national championships. The first was in 1996 when Spurrier was the head coach, and the second in 2006 under current coach Urban Meyer. -
