    In March 2009, Flo Rida was accused of animal cruelty in connection with the killing a rabbit. The incident allegedly took place in Lexington, Kentucky while Flo Rida was on tour promoting his latest album.     In 2007, Flo Rida's breakthrough single, "Low", featuring T-Pain became the #1 digital download on iTunes. The song also spent ten weeks at #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His debut album, Mail On Sunday, was released in 2008. It features appearances by Lil Wayne, Timbaland, Rick Ross, Will.i.am and others. The album reached #4 on the Billboard 200 chart.

    R.O.O.T.S, the first single from Flo Rida's second album, "Right Round," set a new record for digital download sales after selling 636,000 copies the first week of it's release.
