The Flip camcorder is a very small, hand-held video camera that is only 1.25" thick. The device uses built-in flash memory to store video, has a USB plug, a built in microphone, and touts a simple functionality that anyone can use. Flip camcorders can easily fit in your pocket and take standard AA batteries which last 2 - 5 hours.
Mino
The Mino model of the Flip is a smaller, sleeker version which was introduced a few months after the original Flip camcorder. In November of 2008, Pure Digital released a high definition version of the Mino, the MinoHD. This camcorder retails for $229, includes four gigabytes of memory and records videos at 1280 x 720 resolution.
