Flavored Cocaine

Categories: News | Drugs | Health News
  • On March 10, 2008, the DEA seized 8 pounds of cocaine during a raid in Modesto, California. Some of the cocaine was laced with strawberry, cinnamon, and other candy-like flavors, raising concerns that the drugs were meant to target women and children. This was not the first time such an incident occurred. In June, 2007, flavored cocaine was discovered in a bust in the same area of California. Drug Enforcement Officers fear that fruit-flavored drugs are becoming the new trend.
