The Flamingo Hotel is a hotel situated in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip and features a full casino. As of 2010 the hotel has 3,626 rooms and 10 restaurants. The Flamingo Hotel and Casino was opened by mobster Bugsy Siegel in 1946 at a cost of $6 million, and was the first luxury hotel in Las Vegas. The hotel was named after Siegel's girlfriend Virginia Hill, due to her long, skinny legs. The hotel's opening was a flop, and Siegel was murdered shortly after. The hotel was then renamed The Fabulous Flamingo.

The higher-class Go Rooms are accented with the signature Flamingo pink color. Beds have oversized white vinyl headboards and the pillowtop mattresses are triple-sheeted.
