The Fisher Price Smart Cycle is a stationary pedal bike and video game system. Billed as a "Physical Learning Arcade System," the Cycle itself acts as both input device and game console, with which the user can experience on-screen adventures. According to its Fisher Price homepage, the product teaches reading, writing, spelling, counting, matching and spacial reasoning.

Like other, less athletic game systems, the Smart Cycle uses interchangeable cartridges. The cartridge that comes with the system is called Learning Adventure and includes virtual terrain such as "Math Mountain," "Shape Lake" and "Letter Creek." Other available cartridges include:
