FIRST Robotics is an international robotics competition for high school students. In January, teams are given the objectives of the year's game and a set of parts. Teams must build their robots within certain specifications over the course of six weeks. Teams compete regionally at first and then compete at a national level.USFIRST PDF: Facts at a glance

Lego League
Since 1999, FIRST has organized the Lego League, a competition for younger students, as a compliment to its First Robotics Competition. In the Lego League, students ranging in age from nine to 14 use specialized Lego kits to build machines and solve problems. FIRST Lego League: Home page -
