Firefox version 3.5, code-named Shiretoko, is the new version of the most famous Mozilla's browser. It was released on June 30, 2009. Shiretoko was claimed to be the version 3.1 but was moved to Firefox 3.5 due to the sheer volume of work which makes Shiretoko feel like much more than a small, incremental improvement over Firefox 3

NO. Firefox 3.5 runs at the same speeds that it ran in Leopard. Webkit, Safari, and Opera are also the same.
