Finepix Z100fd

The Finepix Z100fd by Fuji is an eight megapixel digital camera with a five times optical zoom. It is available in black, brown, pink, and silver and includes a 2.7 LCD viewing screen.

In addition to the eight megapixel resolution and five times zoom, the camera features several other bells and whistles. The Z100fd comes with facial detection technology, able to recognize up to 10 faces at once, correcting red-eye reflection issues at the same time. A total of 16 shooting modes allow for multiple lighting conditions and speeds to optimize photo quality in a wide range of environments. Additionally, the Z100fd comes with image stabilization technology, to reduce blur and adjust if the camera is not being held completely still.

CNET gave the Z100fd a 6.8 out of 10, liking the sleek design but mentioning issues with the diagonal sliding function of the lens cover. Engadget described the Z100fd as a fashionable camera that doesn't lack in substance.
