Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles or "FF: CC" is the first title in the Crystal Chronicles series of games that first appeared on the Nintendo GameCube in 2004. The game was developed by The Game Designers Studio and published by Japanese RPG giant Square Enix. (As of the release date, Square had yet to partner with Enix, who had been responsible for both Dragon Quest and Dragon Warrior).
Story
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles follows several quests with various fictional races. The quests all have the same objective: to collect magical crystals that will save their world from the effects of a poisonous gas.Gameplay
Gameplay is unique as this was the first role-playing game to incorporate Nintendo GameCube and GameBoy Advance compatibility. It is also very different than gameplay of its predecessor in that it utilizes real-time combat similar to Kingdom Hearts, rather than a turn-based format.-
