Most likely the protagonist of the game, she was designed with the idea of a female version of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII in mind.

• Snow Villiers: 21 year-old leader of Team Nora, a resistance group fighting the government of Cocoon. Snow is Lightning's ally in battle, He has blond hair, wears a bandanna, rides a motorcycle and carries a large gun. Despite his gun, his main fighting skill is with his bare hands. Snow is befriended with Lightning's sister, whom he planned to marry.

  Oerba dia Vanille: A bashful looking, overly positive, girl orange-brown hair worn in pigtails. She has an innocent childlike appearance, but wields a formidable weapon, which resembles a magical fishing rod with multiple lines. She gets captured by the Cocoon forces.
