Filth and Wisdom is a comedy film about the contradictions in life. Madonna philosophizes, "They (three main characters) were all aspects of me". The movie was filmed in May and July of 2007. It debuted in February of 2008.
Plot

The story revolves around three roommates, a Ukrainian immigrant, A.K. (Eugene Hutz), a pharmacy assistant, Juliette (Vicky McClure), and a ballet dancer who is learning to pole dance for work, Holly (Holly Westin). A.K. works as a cross dresser to fund his rock band.
