Filip Vujanovic is the current President of Montenegro, and is the first president since the nation split from Serbia in 2006. He was re-elected by a wide margin in the 2008 presidential election. He advocates a close relationship with Serbia despite their independence, and often cites his friendship with Boris Tadic as a model for relations between the two countries.
