Fight Club is a satirical 1999 film about a dissatisfied office employee who teams up with a traveling soap salesman to start a secret club in which members take out their aggression by fighting with one another. The film stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton and was directed by David Fincher. Based on the 1996 novel by writer Chuck Palahniuk, the movie received mixed reviews when it was initially released but eventually went on to become a "Cult" classic.
