FIFA Club World Cup is a football tournament contested annually between champion clubs from six continental confederations & host association. The winner of this tournament will be regarded as "Champion Club of the World". It was first introduced in 2000 in Brazil and has been played every year since [[2005].
Barcelona won the 2009 edition of FIFA CLub World Cup which took place in Abu Dhabi.
History
FIFA Club World Cup was introduced by FIFA in 2000 as a replacement to "Inter-Continental Cup". The first tournament took place in Brazil. Due to sponsorship and organisational problems, the tournament was cancelled from 2001-2004. The second tournament took place in Japan in 2005.
