Fiesta Bowl 2010

The two Fiesta Bowl 2010 teams were finalized and announced on December 6, 2009. The bowl match-up will take place between Boise State and Texas Christian University (TCU). The latest Fiesta Bowl game was played on January 4, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. PST on Fox.

The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl is one of the four major Bowl Championship Series played annually by U.S. college football teams - along with the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl.

The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl is a member of the Bowl Championship Series and hosted the Big 12 Conference champion and a BCS team. Fiesta Bowl 2010, featuring Boise State and TCU, took place on January 4, 2009 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Boise State won the game with a 17-10 win over Texas Christian University.

The first Fiesta Bowl took place back in 1971 at Sun Devil Stadium at Arizona State University. It began as a means for Western Athletic Conference to gain decent bowl invitations for their champion teams. Over the years, the Fiesta Bowl has transformed into one of the most popular post-season college games.
